Plans approved for £46m dual carriageway to Derry Airport. It was announced today that Regional Development Minister Conor Murphy has given the go ahead for an improved road to the airport following an inspector’s report on the A2 Broadbridge scheme. Planning for the new 6.6km dual carriageway is already underway and the project is expected to start early next year.
